Another Festive Manicure!

Can't. Stop. Sponging.

I can't!  It's like I figured out how to do it and now that is all I want to wear.  It combines my love of french tips with color and no precise taping is needed.  Sloppy is the key.  It's so easy and too much fun and it creates perfect effects for this season in particular!

For this design I used China Glaze Holly-Day for the tip color.  I used China Glaze Twinkle Lights and pa A127 for the glitter gradient and a nail sticker I bought from the Born Pretty Store on my ring finger nail.  It didn't sit well on the glitter so it peeled off and then I removed the whole manicure but whatever; it was glorious while it lasted!

Looks like a squished Christmas tree!
I love having my natural nail bed color peek through like that.  I guess that is why I love french tips so much.  It all makes sense! I've come full circle on this post.

I think you should click to enlarge (= Go ahead! It's so festive and EASY! I'd love to see similar manicures, if you do make one like this, let me know! Or any sponging or glitter gradient manis! Thanks for reading :D

  2. How cute is that?! I tried a blue gradient the other day and it was a total fail. This looks pretty without being over-worked. Win!

  3. i use the actual brush from the bottle on the free edge to get the most opacity, i use the sponge for the gradient part, found that it works well that way :)
