ImageBeauty Order: China Glaze Holiday Sets!

I placed 3 orders from ImageBeauty with my Plum District deals and this is the first one that arrived!  I was anticipating the winter and holiday collections from China Glaze so it's nice to have my hands on most of them now.

I don't plan on doing a full swatch post of all of these but they will likely get their own posts with some nail art or stamping. I want to wear these rather than just swatch. But you'll get to see two in upcoming scheduled posts sometime soon!

Seasonal Sparkles Set
Contains: Holly-Day & Poinsettia
Gift: Twinkle Lights
Twinkle Lights is counted as a gift because it was $6.99 for the package, and the middle item is the gift. So there is my logic.

Deck the Halls Set
Contains: Glittering Garland & Champagne Bubbles
Gift: Holiday Berry Cuticle Oil

Let It Snow Set
Contains: Blue Year's Even & Snow globe
Gift: a snow globe (so cute!)

I'll start posting pics of these polishes as soon as I start taking them!

What did you get order from ImageBeauty?

Essie Turquoise and Caicos

This polish really changed my opinion about Essie.  My first few Essies sucked; I believe the particular bottle of Knockout Pout took 5 coats to reach opacity.  That's too many coats.  Turquoise and Caicos is a particularly sheer polish, but only took 3 coats.  And it's a beautiful color and it lasted nicely on me.  No chipping. I always get chips.  I'm just really tough on my hands.  The manicures I give to friends and family last over a week, I'm lucky if mine make it a day.

Turquoise and Caicos is a semi-jelly finish.  The first coat had me laughing because I never thought it would reach opacity.  It basically just tinted my nails to turquoise and I was all "Oh, crap."  The second coat looked promising and by the third, I was in love.  It really is such a simple color but it is done extremely well.  I like the unique flare of it being somewhat jelly.

Sinful Colors Star Fish & a NOPI

I'm not crazy about the polish I am about to show you.  Which is hard to understand considering its a pink creme and those are my favorite.  Sinful Colors Star Fish is a mauve-y kind of pink.  It is really pretty in the bottle, it just looked crappy next to my skin.

3 coats of Star Fish
I had on CND Stickey and topped it with SH Insta Dri (Red Bottle).

Sorry for the wonky index finger.  I messed it up earlier and then "fixed"  it before taking photos. Looks like a dent -_-

I tried to save this manicure by adding NOPI Step to the Beat of My <3.

I WANT TO SWIM IN IT.

These have one coat of the NOPI. They made it look cuter but the base color was still blargh on my skin )= Another one to add to the swap out pile I guess!

My First Zoya: Mira

After hearing such wonderful things about Zoya polishes but never venturing to get some, I decided to use my bloom.com voucher towards finally get my hands on some pretties.  I got Mira, Maya and Neeka and decided to try Mira first. I felt purpley.

Thanks for the edit job, Britty!
This is three coats of Mira over CND Sticket Base Coat (which I love by the way).  Two coats is all you really need with this one but I shlapped on a third after having some tipwear and realizing I hadn't taken pictures yet.  It's like, the perfect purple creme.  I really am thrilled with this one.  It's so simple but it's done right. No complaints!

This is topped with a coat of SH Insta Dri (Red Bottle) and together they make such a shiny finish. I really like simple polishes like this, there isn't much to it at all, just a purple creme.  It's one of my favorite shades, too.

My Autumnal Franken: Cornucopia

I thought I had posted this ages ago, evidently I did not. I was probably waiting for Fall weather. But the East Coast skipped Fall and went straight to Winter. Yea, we had a white Halloween.

I don't remember the proportions for this at all, I mixed it until it resembled the idea I had in my head.  I do, however, know what I used to make it.

Klean Color: Red Hot, Tiara Gold, Chunky Copper
Orly: Life's a Peach
Sinful Colors: Call You Later
WnW: Cougar Attack

Red Hot and Cougar Attack where both glitters that had tinted jelly bases.  Red Hot had a red very sheer jelly base while Cougar Attack had a charcoal, almost black jelly base.  I used Life's a Peach (an orange shimmer) to try and balance it out to a more brown base.

Macro bottle shot.
I have it layered over two different polishes in these pictures.  The first is Avon Vintage Boutique, which is a chocolatey creme and ridiculously shiny.

Two coats, no TC.

Then I put two coats of Cornucopia with one coat of OTD TC.

I also have it over WnW Private Viewing:
